Candle Making + Soundbath February 26 6.30-8.30 pm, at Little Green Art Studio , Frogtown
A peaceful evening of ritual, fragrance and sound. We will start the evening by making a set of two poured candles with custom fragrance blends. Students will learn the foundations of candle making, a wonderful process that is easy to do at home. While our candles cure, we will enjoy a guided Soundbath with Anika of House of the Dreaming Body. Anika will take us on sound journey while we gently explore intention setting and ritual. Students will leave with a set of beautiful soy candles, a sense of calm clarity that only a sound bath can imbue, and a new ritual of intentionality as we enter the Spring season.
Somatic Daydreaming: Sowing the Seeds March TBD 7-9pm Ceremony Esthetics and Wellness, South Pasadena
A Guided Soundbath and Creative Ritual for the Winter
In the stillness of winter, we dream the first seeds of what will one day bloom. This evening invites you to rest, listen, and let your imagination move through the body, following sensation and image into the subtle places where inspiration begins.
Through guided somatic daydreaming and sound, we soften the edges of thought and open space for new life to take root. The gathering closes with a creative ritual: collaging onto pocket triptychs, small altar-like pieces to keep near your bedside or workspace. These altars a reminder of what’s quietly forming beneath the surface as we move toward spring.
ietly forming beneath the surface as we move toward spring.

A Small Practice for Entering the
Winter Threshold
Winter asks the body to retreat inward..
To gather what is precious, conserve what is needed, and move toward the warmth at the center of ourselves. We are not separate from the season. We slow with it and deepen with it.
This ritual invites that deepening…
And if you’d like to feel the season more deeply… here are a few notes for this time of year. For the ones feeling winter’s atmosphere settle in, wanting to understand its energetics, and how to care for themselves through it with a little more mindfulness and ease.
